How to create menus using javascript?

Hi

I want to create menus in ASP.NET for my webpage.

The menu item(in the format ->)should show the submenu items vertically to its right hand side when the user moves the mouse over the menu item and then i want the user to click that item and go to other pages.

Please give me some simple example and then i will pick up the rest...
